- Current San Francisco Facilities - City-Owned, City-Leased and other designated Critical Facilities (hospitals, shelters, et al.). Each point represents an active facility according the Real Estate Information System (REIS), formerly ICPD). The primary key, [FACILITY_I], is the link back to the REIS table CITYFACILS. The REIS serves as the foundation for information regarding City Property, from which is produced, among other things, the Real Estate Property Book, with additional parking garage information.
- Purpose
- Current San Francisco Public Schools - properties owned by the City and County of San Francisco. Spatial representation of REIS Citylands attribute table.This data layer was originally developed in order to provide a location for each of the facilities in the Capital Asset Management/Facility Condition Monitoring (CAMS/FCM) program. The facilities found in CAMS/FCM had as their original source, the Real Estate's Real Property Book. Part of the effort in creating an integrated City Property database, the REIS, was in determining and verifying the location of facilities in the City, as well as City-owned facilities outside the City boundaries. Real Estate requested that City-leased facilities be added to the layer as well, in order to track leases and related information. Though most facilities designated as Critical are City-owned, the ones that were not (private hospitals, etc.) were added to the dataset also.
